Sunday morning worship services are offered from Memorial Day to mid-September—two identical services (8:30 and 10:30 a.m.) with a speaker and music. Sunday evenings (7:00 p.m.) are a Christian concert or other special presentation. Sunday services and concerts have a pre-service “old fashioned” hymn sing that ranges from hymns to contemporary worship songs.
Speakers include national figures such as author Tony Campolo, U. S. Senate Chaplain Barry Black, recording artist Michael Card, theologian Paul House, and many others. Click on “speakers and musicians.”
During the week and in the off-season, the Tabernacle and its grounds are used by church and community groups for conferences.
The Tabernacle also presents concerts, workshops and seminars.
Main facilities include the Auditorium seating 1,000 (1,400 with folding chairs), the Adams Narthex for groups up to 200, three
Richardson Sunday School rooms, the Noah’s Ark Nursery, and a conference room.
The Kull Youth Center contains a large multi-purpose room with half-court basketball, break-out rooms, a full kitchen, and provision for overnight church groups on sleeping mats.
Ample free parking on the grounds is available for anyone attending services, concerts, or other events.
