Frederick E. Starn

   Frederick E. Starn is the retired President of Starn’s Shop-Rite Markets, Inc. Mr. Starn joined the family business after he was discharged from the U.S. Navy. After his graduation from high school, he joined the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey. He enlisted and served in the South Pacific during WW II as a U.S. Navy Seabee.

   Mr. Starn was named as Mainlander of the Year by the local Chamber of Commerce.

   Fred has a 40 year association with the Tabernacle. William Luff, Sr. requested he join the Board of Directors and has served from 1983 to the present.

   He has been married to Mary Lou for over 60 years and they have a son and a daughter and two grandchildren.
