The Living Last Supper

St. Peter’s United Methodist Church, in conjunction with the Ocean City Tabernacle, will once again present a live dramatization of Leonardo da Vinci’s painting.

“The Last Supper”

On Thursday, April 17th, at 7:00 pm

Friday, April 18th, at 7:00 pm

The 13 characters in the cast remain frozen in their positions as in the famous painting. One-by-one, each disciple breaks from his “freeze” and speaks his mind in light of the words he has just heard Jesus speak… “One of you will betray me,” at which point each man had cried out… “Lord, is it I?” Tension continues to build throughout the drama, ending in Judas’ betrayal of Jesus.

The disciples of Jesus are portrayed by members of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church, the Ocean City Tabernacle, First Presbyterian Church, and Second Cape May Baptist Church.

We invite you to experience an evening of drama, music and worship in the intimacy of the upper room as Jesus shares his last meal with his disciples, followed by a unique communion service. Admission is free (offering received).
